The Exclusive Collection, a leading UK based luxury hotel, spa, weddings, conferencing and leisure brand, is looking for a new people leader.

The Head of People and Culture will be a strategic leader responsible for nurturing a supportive and engaging workplace, aligned to our values. This leader will also have responsibility for the people processes and compliance.

You will partner with the Managing Director and Executive Team to develop and implement our People strategies to align with the company's growth objectives and foster a high-performance culture, inspiring our people to deliver on our mission of “Creating happiness in amazing places”.

People Strategy Development : Lead the creation and execution of a companywide people and culture strategy that delivers on our promise to our people and our customers and supports our growth objectives as a business whilst delivering on our internal and external brand promise.

You will proactively foster internal customer relationships from leader to employee to promote a culture of communication and engagement.

Evolve our Employee Value Proposition and Employee Journey:

_ To evolve our employee value proposition, differentiating us from our competitors.

- Look at how we support our employees at all stages of their life with us, both in and out of work.

- How we reward and develop our people. Help the team understand our business, our values, and how to be ambassadors for our brand.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development across all properties from seasonal temporary contracts to senior appointments across all skills and disciplines

Learning and Development:

- Lead on the delivery of world-class learning and development for our people including our development programmes such as Chefs’ Academy, Food and Beverage Academy and Leadership Academy. Creating a culture of on-the-job

training to reinforce our values and “Creating Happiness” culture as well as ensuring our health and safety compliance.

Internal Communications:

- Lead on the development and implementation of an effective internal communications strategy that embeds our values and behaviours, updates colleagues on company-wide initiatives and engages all staff across all properties every day.

Respect and Belonging:

- Be an ambassador for our Respect Charter which sets out how we expect colleagues to treat each other and our customers. Coach, lead and manage our senior leaders to live the Respect Charter every day and create a culture of inclusivity, respect and belonging for all colleagues.

HR Legislative Compliance and Dispute Management:

- Ensure adherence to UK employment laws and regulations and coach and develop our leaders to understand the HR legal frameworks in which we operate. Advise and support on the resolution of disputes in line with our HR policies and procedures.

Reward & Employee Benefits Management:

- Lead our performance management, reward and recognition, compensation and employee benefits programs including supplier review, commercial and operational effectiveness.

Employee Engagement:

- Lead on initiatives to boost employee engagement, morale, and retention. This will include the management of our annual employee survey and regular pulse surveys. Lead on the analysis of survey data and support local managers to deliver on post survey action plans.

Organisational Design and Process Improvement:

- Advise and support on optimising our organisational structures to enhance operational efficiency. Identify areas for continuous improvement in HR processes, systems, and employee experience.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

- Lead a team of HR Managers based at our properties, as well as our group function ensuring we collaborate with managers and team members across the organisation and contribute to Executive Leadership meetings and strategy days throughout the year.

HR Operations:

- Oversee all HR operations and identify opportunities for systems and process improvements and efficiencies.
