In a Nutshell

To manage the day to day operation of the Conference and Banqueting team, thereby ensuring a flawless service and hospitality for our guests. To optimise opportunities to hit and exceed budgeted targets. To manage and lead the C&B team in all areas including service, staffing, product offering, beverage inventory and revenue. To work as part of a team and to constantly evaluate, train and improve the experience our guests receive.

Lots to do and lots of fun

  • To ensure that expectations are exceeded at all times in all areas of C&B.
  • To manage the C&B team in delivering exceptional standards in the C&B areas.
  • Manage from the front by running and overseeing events.  Remaining hands-on within this busy C&B operation.
  • Meet & greet organisers in a polite professional manner, using name and title as appropriate at every opportunity.
  • To ensure that all events are run to our agreed standards.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef over client catering requirements to ensure consistently high standards.
  • To ensure that all meeting rooms are serviced and set up ready to the client’s specification.
  • Ensure you understand menu and wines being served and you are up to date with your knowledge about audio-visual operation.
  • To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
